One of the Big Four Accounting Firm which is the PricewaterhouseCoopers, in short PwC invited AFSA for an official visit to their firm. This time around, AFSA members who missed the chance to visit PwC last year have the opportunity. Besides the office tour and inspirational speech by the Senior Manager, participants has the chance to gain better understand of PwC through the quizzes organized by PwC. Thank you to PwC for  inviting AFSA and also organizing a very meaningful  agenda for us.

It’s time for the 3^rd Annual General Meeting for AFSA!

Today, 3^rd batch of the Central Committees for term 2012/2013 will step down and 4^th batch which is the new batch for the term 2013/2014 will be revealed. Clubs Day is always the best time for us to promote and spread AFSA to a higher level. As usual, our main objective is to welcome new members and recruiting talented members to be the organizing committees. This time around, we are focusing on promoting our business partners, Citywrite, Light Deli and Leaf and Bean together with a simple concept for our booth decoration. Besides that, we are giving away free vouchers for early bird member’s renewal and registration. Everyone is happy and excited.

Technical Analysis Workshop 2013

Date: 11^th & 18^th May 2013
Venue: C308, Block C, UCSI South Wing
Time: 8am to 5pm

This is the first technical analysis workshop organized by AFSA (Accounting and Finance Student Association) and also first time happening in UCSI University.  Thanks to the Organizing Chairperson, Mr. Ang Chee Keong and his team members in making this workshop a success.

This workshop is conducted by Mr. Derric Yee for 2 consecutive Saturday and with a total number of 15 participants. Technical analysis workshop is base on candle bar chart to find out the buying signal and sell signal.  As this workshop is more like a class rather than a talk, the numbers of participants are limited. If possible, we shall organize this workshop again in future.
