         Ausscar Financial Knowledge Unlocked Workshop was organized by Ausscar Group (AG). AG is an investment holding that provides integrated financial services, technology solutions and advisory services. AG owns three subsidiaries as Oscar Wealth Advisory Sdn Bhd (Oscar Wealth), Ausscar Capital Holding Sdn Bhd (Ausscar Capital) and Wealth Pursuit Sdn Bhd (Wealth Pursuit). One of their missions is to work together with their clients and advisors to achieve their client’s financial goals and dreams.

      There were 6 talks in total and the talks and activities were prepared by Ausscar Group. From these talks, participants were able to understand the financial planning technique, the difference of all types of investment and what are the levels of risk for each investment. In addition, participants gained the chance to engage in the real investment world by evaluating the financial chart. The purpose of this series of talks is to teach participants of the different investment methods and to find out what kind of investment is really suitable for them..

SIDC Modules : Debt Capital Markets ( May and July 2014) @ Auditorium,Block C, UCSI University

In May and July 2014, AFSA along with Actuarial Science Student Association organized 2 SIDC named “Debt Capital Market” that focused on Bond Market. The events provided participants with fundamentals knowledge about the bond market. The objective of this event is to introduce bond market to UCSI University students so that they can enhance their knowledge in debt capital market.

As these modules are not restricted by any particular disciplines and it is knowledgeable and meaningful, this event is thus opened to all the UCSI University students regardless of their field of study. It was a very successful and meaningful event, AFSA would like to take this opportunity to Thank SIDC for letting us to organise such a meaningful event! Last but not least we would like to thank our members for their continuous support! ^_^

Annual General Meeting @ Conference Room, Block B UCSI University [27th June 2014]

It’s finally time for the 4th Annual General Meeting for AFSA!

Date: 27th June 2014
Time: 2:30pm to 4:30pm
Venue: Conference Room, UCSI South Wing

        The Annual General Meeting is a platform that enables us to share and communicate directly with the student of UCSI University anything regarding to AFSA. Besides, it provides an opportunity to those who are interested to know or has any enquiry about AFSA. It also serves as a ceremony to acknowledge the achievements and contributions of our committees throughout the year.

       It marks another start of AFSA’s journey as the 4th batch of the Central Committees for term 2013/2014 will step down and 5th batch which is the new batch for the term 2014/2015 will be revealed. First of all, thank you so much to the 4th batch for their effort and contributions. We appreciate each and every one of you and we promise to bring AFSA to a much higher level.

        It was a day filled with HAPPY TEARS. Everyone was moving around sharing happiness and enjoying their every moment for the introduction of NEW batch of central committees.
